But a cadre of unsung heroes has been working to change that. They are the “vaccine fixers” — volunteers who navigate New Jersey’s Byzantine scheduling system to score appointments for eligible people on the verge of giving up.
Kim and Ambrose Dunn-Meynell started by helping frustrated friends at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship get vaccinated. Word of their success spread quickly.
