Entertainment historian John Kenrick will present A Christmas Carol: How Dickens Reshaped Christmas with a Ghost Story, via Zoom, courtesy of the Morristown and Morris Township Library.

The program starts at 7 o’clock tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020

A veteran of the musical circuit and a lauded lecturer, Kenrick will discuss the revolutionary cultural implications of Charles Dickens’ ubiquitous short story — which helped transform Christmas into a major holiday on two continents–and share some unique examples of the tale’s adaptations.
