This is how people amused themselves in ancient times, before masks, hand sanitizers and social distancing:

Video: ‘Carol of the Ukes,’ by the One Uke Wonders:

Four strings, four breath mints and four cans of deodorant, and you were good to go.

The One Uke Wonders had fun with this concept last December at the Folk Project’s annual holiday concert, at The Troubadour in Morris Township.

These disciples of the Morristown Uke Jam included Beth Bachmann (triangle, bass) and Jennifer Bross (xylophone) from The Mother Pluckers; and on ukes, Bob Kammer, Mike Sagurton and some guy whose name escapes me.

This one goes out in memory of Betsy Harvin, a great friend to ukulele players everywhere.

Check back tomorrow when we throw another video log on the digital fire, as our Happy Virtual Holidays series continues.
