Nobody wants a lump of COVID for Christmas. And so the annual Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green has been scaled down for safety.

Santa Claus will be arriving today, Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 — via a fire truck that will whisk him around town between 1 pm and 4 pm.

The Morristown Partnership promises Santa will be back, taking orders from good little boys and girls during holiday weekends, from a safe distance on North Park Place.

We’re confident that future Yule seasons will look more traditional. Lest we forget, our Happy Virtual Holidays festival offers a taste of Santamania, from Mr. Kringle’s triumphant arrival in 2016:
