Remember MoMo the Calendar Dog?

MoMo is a Poodle-Thai Ridgeback mix with an incredible story. Originally from Thailand, MoMo escaped out the door an hour after arriving at his new home. With the help of Buddha Dog Rescue and Recovery, owners Lee and Debi Goldberg of Morris Township got MoMo back 12 days later.

MoMo was entered in the annual WDHA Ultimate Rock Dog contest, held by WDHA 105.5 in Cedar Knolls, for the station’s annual Rock Dog calendar.

Not only did MoMo win a spot in the calendar — his beady eyes greeting those who flip to the month of November — but he’s on the cover, too, cuddled by WDHA’s midday talent, Terrie Carr.

MoMo’s day in the spotlight has come. The calendars are available on WDHA 105.5’s website for $10. Proceeds will benefit Eleventh Hour Rescue, a Morris County shelter dedicated to rescuing dogs from kill shelters and finding them new homes.

Make sure you’re quick, though. Supplies are limited.
