From Morristown Medical Center:
Starting the week of Nov. 9, 2020, Morristown Medical Center’s Sameth Emergency Department parking lot and adjoining driveway on Franklin Street will be closed to accommodate the installation and use of a large crane and provide a staging area for the equipment required to install a new HVAC system on the roof of its Kahn building.
This is part of the ongoing renovations taking place on the hospital’s 30-acre campus.
The crane installation and operation will not affect ambulance access. Parking for
the Emergency Department will move to the Farris parking lot that will function as
patient parking only. Construction is anticipated to last through the end of
December, weather permitting.
