‘Tis the season.

And we’re not talking Tricks or Treats, or even pass-the-cranberry-sauce, Grandma.

“We just couldn’t let the season go by without having our annual holiday concert,” said Conductor Larry Ripley, after leading an upbeat hour of Yuletide songs in the chilly parking lot of the Morris Plains Presbyterian Church on Sunday.

Indoor concerts in December seem like a long shot at best during this pandemic. So Ripley and the borough’s Community Band and Community Choir served up Christmas in October to a masked, socially distanced audience.
