From Cornerstone Family Programs:

Cornerstone Family Programs powered through the pandemic on Sept. 25, 2020, with a Drive-In Movie Fundraiser in place of its 13th Annual Bowl-a-Thon.

The Whippany drive-in featured the movie BIG with Tom Hanks. Nearly 75 families attended and enjoyed popcorn, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Chick Wings & Things, and Kona Ice food trucks.

Proceeds will support children’s programs at the Morristown Neighborhood House, a subsidiary of Cornerstone Family Programs.

Joe Forgione of JMF Properties/Francene and Joseph Forgione Family Foundation was the Premier Sponsor of the event and generously offered Pine Plaza for the event.

Other sponsors included A.J. O’Connor & Associates, Dr. Judy Banks, Cadia Private Client, Chubb NJ, HBK IT, Dun & Bradstreet, McKirdy Riskin Olson & DellaPelle, Lydia and Eric Muller, Mike and Virginia Ranger, Salerno Duane Auto Group, Kate and Todd Schermerhorn, Senlac Partners, Melanie and Alan Smith, Station Partners, and Sweetie Pig Foundation.

“We are so grateful to the sponsors and community for supporting the drive-in movie and our programs at Cornerstone Family Programs. We had to create a fundraiser in lieu of our annual Bowl-a-Thon and couldn’t think of a better, safer family friendly event than a drive-in movie,” said Gwenn DellaPelle, Cornerstone director of development.

“And a huge thank you to the Cornerstone Junior Board for being such a tremendous help at the event! We couldn’t have done it without them,” DellaPelle added.
