Morristown will resume issuing municipal identification cards starting on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 10 am to noon, by appointment only, at town hall.

Call 973-796-1918 or email here  for an appointment. Proof of residency is required. Fees range from $7 to $15.  Town hall is at 200 South St.

The town council approved the voluntary I.D. program in 2017. Immigration advocates said photo identification could help undocumented people open bank accounts, access health care and use the town pool. Town officials expressed hopes the card would minimize victimization of undocumented persons.
