Remember when “going viral” was a good thing?
Remember when “live” performances happened on a stage, not on a screen?
Here are highlights of an actual, real concert, in a pandemic, no less. (Sorry, the video does require a screen.) John Ginty & Friends played a drive-in benefit for Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center on Thursday at Fosterfields in Morris Township.
Ginty showed why he’s the go-to organist for groups such as the Allman Betts Band and Santana. And Marcus Randolph of the Robert Randolph Family Band and My Peeples Peeple traded his drums for a lap steel guitar, with ease.
Enjoy.
