The seventh annual Morristown Festival of Books, scheduled for Oct. 9-10, 2020, has been pushed to Oct. 8-9, 2021, because of….   well, you know.

The book fest joins the Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival and the New Jersey Uke Fest among other area happenings that have been cancelled this year for public safety during the pandemic.

Here is more, from the book festival organizers:

From the Morristown Festival of Books:

In 2014, Morristown Festival of Books (MFOB) was launched to celebrate the power of the written word. MFOB has welcomed hundreds of highly engaging authors to Morristown – including Pulitzer Prize winners, National Book Award winners, Newbery and Caldecott medalists, and New York Times bestsellers.
The Festival is grateful for the support and generosity of our sponsors and donors, our 150+ annual volunteers, our booksellers and our community partners who dedicate their time and resources to making the Festival happen, as well as the thousands of attendees who are at the heart of the Festival’s mission.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the 7th annual Morristown Festival of Books slated for October 9 and 10, 2020 in Morristown, New Jersey will not be held.  We know this is the right step to help keep everyone safe, and we look forward to seeing you back in our venues along South Street on October 8 and 9, 2021. In the meantime, stay updated on our FacebookInstagram,  Twitter and website
