The Morristown & Morris Township Library may be closed temporarily, but the Children’s Department is open for virtual programming! Story Times continue with our librarians posting story time videos to the library’s YouTube channel. Each video ends with instructions on how to make a simple craft.

If your family needs craft inspiration, follow Crafts with Miss Elise and learn how to make a variety of projects like homemade clay or origami cranes. You can also relax and listen to a reading of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, or watch our Cloud Library Book Reviews to find suggestions for your next read.

For a brain challenge, both teens and children can attempt to solve our virtual escape rooms.

We know that books are the heart of the library and want to make sure reading materials were available as well. Like the adult services department, we purchased extra titles for our CloudLibrary, making more children’s and teen ebooks accessible for our readers.

TumbleBooks, another service we subscribe to, offers a variety of ebook titles, read- alouds, and graphic novels. Teen book club continues with remote technology, with registration information available on the Teen Homepage of the library website.

The Teen and Kids pages of our website host curated lists of resources available at home, including suggestions for educators and parents. Visit our webpage at mmtlibrary.org to access all of our virtual programming.

If you need help with login information for CloudLibrary, email our circulation department at circ-mmt@mainlib.org. Until we can see you safely back in the library, come and visit us virtually!
