Morristown police said Friday they are seeking information about a car stolen overnight from Wetmore Avenue.The vehicle, an unlocked 2017 Audi A5, was stolen early Friday morning, police said.
“From our initial investigation, it appears that at least two people were checking vehicle door handles between 3:00 and 4:00 am at which time they entered and stole” the car.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Morristown Police at 973-538-2200.
Police urge all residents to lock vehicles, remove keys and valuables, close and lock garage doors, turn on exterior lights, and ensure their houses are locked up before retiring for the night.
