From Drew University:

In this difficult time, here’s a bright spot from Drew:

This is the final weekend of residency for any remaining students on the Drew University campus (unless you filed for an exception).

As the last of these students were packing to go, a few gathered to celebrate a mock Commencement ceremony, since the one they traditionally would have had on May 9 won’t be taking place as planned.

In the face of disappointment for what is lost, especially for the Class of 2020—research in labs and studios studios; in-person community in chapel, the theatre, and concert hall; hands-on experiences in NYC and in the field and abroad; the glory of teamwork on the field and court—this group said goodbye to The Forest with true Drew spirit.

Their work continues in this new digital environment, but we at Drew greatly miss the joy and energy of the people who make The Forest what it is.
