Closed: Playgrounds, playing fields…and even miniature golf, across Morris County

From the Morristown Police:

An emergency declaration issued today by the Morris County Emergency Management Coordinator has announced that in order to further stop the community spread of the COVID-19 virus, certain steps are being taken.

A drive-through COVID-19 sampling site is being established. Further details will be provided once available.

The following businesses will be closed at 8 pm this evening across Morris County:

Indoor public or private recreational bathing facilities.

Indoor recreational facilities including amusement, trampoline parks, miniature golf, batting cages, etc…

In addition, all playgrounds and playing fields are closed immediately. Parks may remain open for “passive recreation” but organized actives and groups more than four are not allowed.
