Morris Township’s governing body and its board of health are encouraging residents to follow their meetings tonight, Wednesday, March 18, 2020, online from home.
The health board meets at 5 pm, and the Township Committee, which is scheduled to introduce this year’s municipal budget, convenes at 7 pm in the municipal building.
Public access to the building is being restricted to the east foyer and bathrooms, between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays, during the coronavirus pandemic. The Township is asking residents to conduct municipal business by phone, mail or email, and to pay sewer fees and property taxes online.
Residents can follow Wednesday’s meetings via a conference call:
Dial-in number (US): (425) 436-6376
Access code: 874919#
And they can watch a live video stream on the Township’s Facebook page, according to Deputy Mayor Jeff Grayzel. Residents who wish to ask questions during the meeting only may do so via the conference call.
Here is the agenda for the Township Committee meeting.
