A special afternoon with Morristown scholar Michael Rockland: ‘The George Washington Bridge: Poetry in Steel,’ March 22

Join us to hear Morristown luminary Rockland speak about the updated edition of his book The George Washington Bridge: Poetry in Steel, which has a new chapter focusing on the Chris Christie Bridgegate scandal.

He will also speak about his forthcoming novel Married to Hitler and how as a writer he jumps back and forth between writing his fiction and nonfiction works.

He will discuss how he is inspired by moving from one to the other and even works on both his fiction and nonfiction books at the same time.

About our speaker: Michael Aaron Rockland is a professor of American Studies at Rutgers University. He is the author of 14 books, five of which have received special recognition and prizes. He is a regular contributor to NJ Monthly magazine, has worked in television production and regularly appears as a commentator on NPR.
