The 2017 Cadillac SUV was hanging partially over the parking deck wall.

Emergency medical technicians from the hospital administered first aid to the driver, a 65-year-old man from Parsippany who was stuck inside the Cadillac, as firefighters from Morristown and Morris Township stabilized the vehicle.

The driver, whose identity was not released, was evaluated in the emergency room for minor injuries.

He was dropping off someone at the hospital when he “suffered an unknown medical event,” said Morristown Public Safety Director Michael Corcoran Jr.

No other injuries were reported. Several cars parked inside the garage sustained minor damage.

Police received multiple 911 calls alerting them to the accident.  Morristown Police Officer Brian McDonnell conducted the initial investigation; the matter remains under investigation, Corcoran said.
