The Morris County Sheriff’s CrimeStoppers program is offering a reward for information that helps solve a possible criminal mischief incident involving a toppled menorah in Mendham Borough.

Borough police investigated damage to the menorah on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, in Mendham Borough Park on Park Avenue.

“The menorah was believed to be upended and it sustained damage to five light bulbs,” the Sheriff’s Office reported on Tuesday. The menorah has been restored to working order.

Anyone with information is asked to call 973-COP-CALL or visit this website. Tips can be made anonymously.

About 50 people gathered at the Mendham park on Sunday afternoon, to stand against anti-Semitism in the wake of weekend stabbings at the home of a rabbi in Monsey, NY, and fatal shootings earlier in December at a kosher supermarket in Jersey City.
