It’s not Snowmageddon. But the forecast is enough to keep you off the roads on Monday afternoon, if you have that luxury.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory starting at 1 pm on Dec. 16, 2019, extending to 7 am on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
About an inch of snow and two-tenths of an inch of ice are possible:
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.
Snow begins Monday morning and then will mix with sleet and freezing rain Monday afternoon. Precipitation then changes to plain rain Monday night. Rain then continues through Tuesday before tapering off Tuesday night.
