Snow is falling. The Morristown Parking Authority is responding by offering free garage parking for Morristown residents.

The agency and Mayor Tim Dougherty’s office on Monday announced the parking will be available to residents from 3 pm on Monday, Dec. 2,  to 8 am on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at these locations:

• DALTON GARAGE at Cattano Avenue
• DEHART STREET GARAGE

All vehicles must be removed from these garages by 8 am on Tuesday. Please show driver’s license as proof of Morristown residency upon exiting, and parking fees will be waived.

The parking authority may charge fees if vehicles are moved after the removal time, and if owner is a non-resident of town.  Details are subject to change.

As of Monday morning, the National Weather Service was predicting six- to 10 inches of snow for Greater Morristown. A Winter Storm Warning extends through 4 am on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
