Santa delivers the goods every Christmas, no matter the weather.
But for the rest of us, he believes in Safety First. And so, the Morristown Partnership has canceled festivities scheduled for Santa’s arrival tonight, Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019.
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3. A slippery, wintry mix is forecast for Sunday evening, with five- to nine inches of snow likely on Monday.
As we post this on Sunday afternoon, The Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green is poised to start its holiday run this Friday, Dec. 6, from 3 pm to 8 pm, with mini-train rides, tent activities to be determined and, of course, visits with Santa.
