‘Women Who Care,’ talk to benefit mental health association, Morristown, Sept. 12

As a warmup for this weekend’s fifth annual Girls Guts Glory bike/hike/run, Body4Life Training in Morristown presents Women Who Care, a networking event on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, to benefit the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris.

Featured speakers are Morristown First Lady Mary Dougherty, co-founder of the Morristown Women in Business; Madine Despeine-Udoh, director of self help, advocacy and education for the Mental Health Association; and Lily Arora, MD, DFAPA, associate professor, Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School.

Moderated by former Morristown Council President Rebecca Feldman, the event runs from 6 pm to 9 pm at 4 Wilmot St.  Admission is $10.

Girls Guts Glory is from 7 am to noon on Sunday, Sept. 15, at Lewis Morris Park in Morris Township. Hiking is a new addition this year.

This women’s competition benefits also benefits the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris. Entry fee is $25. The park is at 270 Mendham Road.
