The month of Elul is a month of preparation for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. That’s why Jews blow the shofar (almost) every day of the month.
Rabbi Michael Satz of Temple B’nai Or will blow the Shofar and teach us why and how we mark the month of Elul with this tradition.
Join us for a soul-stirring blast of the Shofar on the front lawn of Morristown Town Hall on 9/12, 9/17, and 9/23, at 8:45 AM.
Rabbi Satz and the group will then head to Swiss Chalet (9:30 am) to continue the conversation over coffee.
