THURSDAY, AUG. 22, 2019:
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown presents the silent horror classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920, German) at 7 pm, featuring accompaniment by St. Peter’s award-winning organist, Josh Stafford, playing the church’s magnificent 1930 Skinner organ. At South Street and Miller Road. Admission: $10; under 18, free.

FRIDAY, AUG. 23:
Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Madison’s free Downtown Concert Series presents Jumping the Gun at 6 pm, in front of the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, at 9 Main St.
The Seventh Annual New Jersey Uke Fest kicks off at 7 pm with a Woodstock-themed outdoor play-along, followed at 7:30 pm by a concert featuring Rachel Manke and Gerald Ross, and a post-concert play-along at 10 pm. Percussionist Chuck Wood celebrates the release of his album A New Beginning (produced by by Morristown High alum John Ginty) with a live performance at 7:30 pm at Morristown’s 70 South Gallery. The concert will feature Mary Moses, Maria Haydon, Ken
Meyer, Jeff Hambright and Nadine LaFond, and “a blend of African
and Latin percussion along with guitars, vocals, harmonica and saxophone, heavily
influenced by the guitar and drum styles of West Africa and Afro Pop from the early

SATURDAY, AUG. 24:
The NJ Uke Fest continues in Whippany with registration at 8:15 am and workshops from 9:15 am to 5:30 pm. A concert follows at 7:30 pm, featuring Christopher Davis-Shannon, and the duo of Daniel Ward and Heidi Swedberg. Admission: $25 for the concert, $102 for the workshops, and $117 for both. The Morris Plains Farmers Market is back for its 17th season, from 9 am to 2 pm every Saturday through Oct. 12, 2019, rain or shine, in the Merchant Block parking lot near the Model Railroad Club building.
The Woman’s Club of Morristown annual Rummage Sale fund-raiser runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the club, its charities and maintenance of its historic Condict house headquarters. At 51 South St.
