Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.
Madison’s free Downtown Concert Series presents the House of Hamill at 6 pm, in front of the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts, at 9 Main St.
The Folk Project’s revamped open stage offers two stages, to ensure everyone gets a shake at performing. Featured act: Honed, with John Hone of Purple Hayes fame. SATURDAY, AUG. 10:
The Morris Plains Farmers Market is back for its 17th season, from 9 am to 2 pm every Saturday through Oct. 12, 2019, rain or shine, in the Merchant Block parking lot near the Model Railroad Club building.
The Morris County Tourism Bureau presents an 11 am walking tour of Morristown’s Historic District, led by Bonnie-Lynn Nadzeika, former director of the Morris County Historical Society. Tickets: $15. Meet at 6 Court St., 973-631-5151.
Hanover’s Annual Charity Classic will benefit Greater Morristown’s Interfaith Food Pantry. Bayer and Wegman’s will battle for softball supremacy from 1 pm to 5:30 pm at Malapardis Park in Cedar Knolls; additional entertainment is scheduled. Admission is free; spectators are asked to bring a donation of canned food. A 50/50 raffle also will benefit the food pantry.

The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey presents its Summer Chamber Music concert at 3 pm, at Grace Church, Madison. The program will feature works by Chopin, Donizetti and maestro Robert Butts, among other composers. Tickets: $5-$20. At 4 Madison Ave.
The 40-piece Morris Plains Community Band will perform a free concert of Broadway and Hollywood tunes at 6 pm in Roberts Garden Park, at 99 Mountain Way. A 30-member choir will join the band for The Battle Hymn of the Republic. Rain date is Monday, Aug. 12, at 6 pm.
