Greater Morristown offers plenty of lazy, hazy diversions this weekend.

THURSDAY, AUG. 1, 2019:

Meet the green team from Sustainable Morristown at Green Drinks, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at EnMasse Coworking in Morristown. Tickets: $10. At One High St., Morristown.

The Grove Street Stompers, Dixieland jazz favorites at New York’s famed Arthur’s Tavern since 1962, perform at the Morris Museum’s Bickford Theatre in Morris Township at 7:30 pm. Tickets: $18-$20. A 6 Normandy Heights Road, (973) 971-3700.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey enters the final weekend of its outdoor production of William Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play (abridged), at 8 pm in the amphitheater of the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morris Township. FRIDAY, AUG. 2:

Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Looking for a music/camping road trip? The 31st annual Falcon Ridge Folk Festival starts at noon and runs through 6 pm on Sunday, at the edge of the Berkshires in Hillsdale, NY. Nonstop music and dancing. Acts include many favorites from the Folk Project’s Troubadour series in Morris Township–and many up-and-coming performers, too. Tickets: $45-$200; children 12 & under, free.

It’s time for the annual Campout on the Beach, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Sunrise Lake at Lewis Morris Park in Morris Township. Beach admission and water activities start at 4 pm. Guitar finger-picking master Happy Traum headlines at The Troubadour Acoustic Concert Series in Morris Township, with opener Pete McDonough at 7:30 pm. Admission: Admission is $10; children 12 and under, free. At the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Road.

SATURDAY, AUG. 3:

The Morris Plains Farmers Market is back for its 17th season, from 9 am to 2 pm every Saturday through Oct. 12, 2019, rain or shine, in the Merchant Block parking lot near the Model Railroad Club building.

The free workshop by nationally-exhibited photographer Xiomaro, from 10 am to 2 pm at the Washington’s Headquarters Museum, 30 Washington Place, Morristown.
