Summer means music, and both are in full swing in Greater Morristown.
We told you about Southside Johnny at the Bickford. And here are glimpses of Tshila’s set at Meet Me in Morristown, and the Songs of the Sixties sing-along at The Troubadour (formerly The Minstrel) in Morris Township.

The Folk Project’s Bunk Bed Band was in rare form on Friday, leading local music fans in a celebration of Sixties favorites at the Troubadour Acoustic Concert Series. Sonny and Cher made a special guest appearance, and the home-made brownies were potent, even without the Sixties seasonings and gluten.

The Troubatour (formely the Minstrel Show) celebrated “Songs of the Sixties” with their usual incredible musicians, singers, camaraderie, and humor…audience members invited to sing, dance, and play their instruments…Always a wonderful place to relax and enjoy music of many kinds every Friday night…Bravo!!!
Three cheers for the Folk Festival gathering on Friday night at the Unitarian Church, the usual venue for this talented group of performers…. The sixties produced some great music; it was just terrific being there as “it” came back, in full force, thanks to a superbly talented and generous, not to mention enthusiastic, collection of performers.
