Carettes of Morris County Celebrates The 54th Annual Debutante and Esquire Ball

Morristown High School junior Ajhand Jordan was Esquire King, and Daija Hamm of Dover High School was his Debutante Queen, at the 54th Annual Junior Debutante and Esquire Ball, presented this spring at the Hanover Manor by the Carettes Inc. of Morris County.

The mission of Carettes is to provide community participation, social interaction and scholarships.

Formerly known as β€œThe Junior Debutante Ball,” open to young ladies in their junior year of high school, the event was renamed in 1995 to include male participants in their junior year.

Students are involved in various workshops promoting self-awareness, professional and career development, social etiquette and college preparedness. The program runs from October through April.

Interested students and parents should contact Carettes directly to be invited to their next orientation, scheduled for October 2019.

Since 2012, Carettes has distributed more than $100,000 in scholarships.
