A Paterson woman was arrested Wednesday night after Morristown police responded to a report of a fight with a large group of people in the street on Cobb Place.

Tenika Abreu, 19, was charged with disorderly conduct after refusing to leave the area, said Morristown Public Safety Director Michael Corcoran Jr.

No other charges were filed.

Abreu, who later was released, was involved in a dispute with Ayannah Smith, also 19, of Morristown, Corcoran said.

The altercation occurred around 10 pm. Morris Township police assisted Morristown officers, Corcoran said.

  1. I had to look up where Cobb Place is. Folks, it’s not downtown. No need to add drama.
    M. Russell is correct. Warren and Faith? Um, nope!

  2. An altercation in a RESIDENTIAL part of town is not cause to crucify development, bars, taxes, traffic or zoning. It could of happened any where in ANY town.

So Warren we don’t appreciate the sarcasm and Faith…relax.

  3. yes, indeed, we need more bars, more high density ugly buildings, more disregard for the zoning laws, more tax breaks for developers and more traffic..more disrespect for neighborhoods and our architectural heritage…proud ??
