What can we do to control technology that increasingly controls us?

The Morris School District will explore the options with a free screening of the film Like, followed by a panel discussion, on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Frelinghuysen Middle School in Morris Township.

The District puts it this way:

The goal for this film is to inspire people of all ages, especially kids, to self-regulate. As technology continues to progress, and children are exposed at even earlier ages, education and discussion are critical to understanding how it affects us and how we can manage it going forward.

This program is appropriate for ALL parents. Students 10+ are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Panelists include a psychologist, a professor, an administrator and students. District Superintendent Mackey Pendergrast also will share his thoughts.

Although the event is free, attendees are asked to register here.  Registrants will be entered for a chance to win a book on the subject.  The school is at 10 Jane Way.
