How would universal healthcare–Medicare for All–work?

A leading advocate will field questions on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship in Morris Township.

Michael Lighty, longtime public policy director for the California Nurses Association/
NNU, will lead a discussion from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Lunch will be served.

The event is at 21 Normandy Heights Road, and it’s sponsored by the NJ Universal Healthcare Coalition, a state-wide advocacy organization that promoting Medicare for All.

    2. For all the State employees and teachers – Your “Cadillac” health benefits will be gone.
    3. If you work in the health insurance industry, you will likely become unemployed.
    4. If you think the VA does a terrible job providing healthcare to our veterans, get ready for the same model.
    5. $35 Trillion ($35,000,000,000,000)- impossible to pay for it.
