Many may remember the TV and film versions of The Addams Family. But the Morristown High School Theater Program is introducing a new side of this creepy, spooky clan.

In the school’s musical adaptation, Wednesday returns home with a guest, her new and NORMAL fiancée.

Not only will this show test the young actors on stage. It also will pose abnormal challenges to the hair- and makeup teams behind the curtain.

They are tasked with bringing to life a cast resembling the dead.

The most challenging characters are the ancestors, actors who embody people from different centuries and scenarios. They include a saloon girl, a gangster, a sailor and a nurse.

Overseeing 13 crew members, seniors Arianna D’Andrea and Olivia Bilbault both are excited about their final musical in high school. Their team has spent months perfecting the actors’ makeup and costumes, and now they are counting the days until the show opens on  Friday, March 22, 2019.

Limited tickets still are on sale for a show that aims to leave you haunted, chilled, and gloomy for eternity.
