Turn ahead the clock…and grab your shovel. Snow may greet Daylight Savings Time on Sunday

Early Sunday, when you advance your clock an hour for Daylight Savings Time, you also may want to place your shovel and boots by the door.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Greater Morristown for Sunday, March 10, 2019, from midnight to 11 am.

About an inch of snow may be followed by a glaze of ice, before temperatures climb and everything turns to rain later in the day, predicts the National Weather Service.

On the bright side, none of this will affect Saturday’s Morris County St. Patrick’s Parade, which kicks off from Morristown town hall on noon, when the mercury is anticipated to hit a balmy 40 degrees. Parking is free from 10 am to 6 pm in Morristown Parking Authority garages.

Give us a wave–Morristown Green is near the back of Division 1–and come back later for complete coverage.
