THURSDAY, FEB. 21, 2019:

20th Century posterScrewball film comedies continue at the Morristown & Township Library with a free 6:45 pm screening of  Twentieth Century, starring Carole Lombard & John Barrymore, directed by Howard Hawks.  Bonus shorts include Laurel & Hardy, Three Stooges and Little Rascals. Light refreshments will be served. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company presents The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) (Revised) at 7:30 pm in Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center. Tickets: $29-$49. At 100 South St., 973-539-8008.


FRIDAY, FEB. 22:

Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

The Morristown Neighborhood House & Cornerstone Family Programs present The Art of Jazz, a Black History Month Cultural Celebration, at Morristown’s 70 South Gallery. Artworks will include quilts by the late Viki Craig, co-founder of Art in the Atrium Inc. The opening jazz reception and art preview runs from 6 pm to 9:30 pm. Suggested donation: $20; refreshments, cash bar. Proceeds benefit programs at the Neighborhood House. Art exhibit and talent showcase on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. The Art of Jazz, a Black History Month Cultural Celebration continues from 10 am to 5 pm at Morristown’s 70 South Gallery. See Friday entry for details.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center presents a program of Debussy, Khachaturian, Watkins and Brahms, at 3 pm in the Concert Hall at Drew University in Madison. Pre-concert talk at 2:15. Admission info here or at 973-408-3176. At 36 Madison Ave.

The Morris County Winter Farmers Market continues its sixth season, every Sunday morning from 10 am to 1 pm through March 31, 2019, at Morristown’s Alexander Hamilton School, 24 Mills St. Presented by the Foodshed Alliance and Grow It Green Morristown.
