The Madison Hotel wants to to build 119 apartments on its current parking lot, just across Old Turnpike Road from Convent Station.
It is scheduled to pursue variances from Morris Township’s zoning board on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018.
The meeting starts at 7:30 pm in the Township municipal building, at 50 Woodland Ave.
I probably wasn’t clear. My comments refer to the proposed apartment building on the parking lot of the Madison Hotel.
If the new building is approved, the draw for tenants would be that they can walk to the train, just like in downtown Morristown. But as to walking to restaurants, they would have just one choice! (Well, two, Rod’s and the Red Dog)
