THURSDAY, NOV. 15, 2018:

'Rope' posterThe Morristown & Township Library presents a free screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1948 thriller, Rope, at 6:45 pm. Doors open at 6:15; light refreshments. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

 

UPDATE: Santa’s reindeer has been snowed out tonight. An extra show has been added Sunday at 7 pm. Morristown High School presents the high school world premiere of Prancer, at 7 pm. Tickets: $8-15. Performances through Sunday. At 50 Early St.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison enters the final weekend of its 19th century British comedy Charley’s Aunt, at 8 pm. Tickets start at $49. Runs through Nov. 18, 2018. At 36 Madison Ave., 973-408-5600.


FRIDAY, NOV. 16:

Morning Yoga with Munah Hayes returns to the Morristown & Township Library at 9:30 am. Free. Bring a yoga mat. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Composer John Morton brings his Sound Garden interactive exhibition to the Morris Museum in Morris Township, starting at 11 am. The exhibition runs through Feb. 24, 2019. Admission: $7-$10. At 6 Normandy Heights Road, (973) 971-3700.

This evening’s Minstrel concert by the Shockenaw Mountain Boys has been canceled because of the death of band member Andy Goessling, who succumbed to cancer on Oct. 12. The Minstrel in Morris Township will remain dark to honor him. Those who wish to share music together may do so at the Rockaway Township home of Folk Project members; call 201-207-8696.

SUNDAY, NOV. 18:

The Morristown Farmers Market concludes its season, at 8:30 am. At Lot 10, behind the Post Office, between Dumont Place and Morris Street. Presented by the Morristown Partnership.

Morristown PBA Local 43  will host its third annual “Fill a Cruiser” Food Drive from 10 am to 3 pm at the Kings supermarket on South Street. Police will distribute lists of needed goods, and Kings will have pre-packed, pre-priced bags at registers. All items collected will go to the Interfaith Food Pantry. Police hope to surpass last year’s totals: 1,000 pounds of food and $750 in cash.
