Another outstanding season drew to a close for the Morristown High School field hockey varsity on Wednesday night, with a 4-2 loss to Bridgewater-Raritan in the Group 4 semifinals.
The Colonials staked themselves to a 1-0 lead on a goal by their senior star, Olivia Graham. It was her 86th career tally.
That lead held for nearly 30 minutes, until the Panthers, a perennial powerhouse, stormed back with three goals, under the lights in Boonton. Indira Summerville would add a goal for Morristown.
Madison Bray (two goals), Sam Della Rovere and Jenna Vadinsky scored for Bridgewater-Raritan, which will meet Eastern in the finals.
