Morris Educational Foundation Announces Pixelott

Morristown High School (MHS) in partnership with the Morris Educational Foundation (MEF) has received a grant from the National Football League (NFL) for the purchase of a live streaming camera system.

Using the Pixelott technology program, which features an automated camera system, MHS will be able to produce live streams for all athletic events on Memorial Field as well as in the Main Gym in the High School.

The broadcast is live-streamed over the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) Network.

The NFHS Network platform allows for both live streaming and archiving for on-demand viewing through the website. Fans can now watch events whenever they want from wherever they are using their smart television, computer or mobile device. www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/morristown-high-school-morristown-nj

“We are proud to be one of the first and one of the few schools in the area to have this new technology,” said Morristown High School Athletic Director Smitty Horton.

“The Pixelott is groundbreaking for Morristown High School athletes, coaches, and fans. Coaches can now review games and share the films with student-athletes. It is also an improvement for our fans. Working parents, grandparents, alumni fans, and community members can now watch from far away or at different times. It is great for the community.”

Morristown High School Athletic Office has a limited supply of yearly passes available for $50. These passes will also allow the purchaser entrance to any regular season sporting events. Other subscription plans are available through www.nfhsnetwork.com/subscribe/retail

“Innovation and technology continue to elevate the opportunities of Morris School District students across all areas and disciplines. The MEF is proud to partner with our schools to help deliver first-rate learning for all students,” said Debbie Sontupe, MEF Executive Director.
