The New York Air Show touches down this weekend at Stewart Airport in Newburgh, NY, and we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek.
The Thunderbirds arrived in formation, as always. They did a survey of the field from the air, then practiced a few maneuvers before touching down. Major Ray Geoffrey briefed reporters while the Thunderbirds thrilled everyone with several overhead passes.
The Stewart Air National Guard’s mammoth C-17 transport planes practiced touch-and-go landings in preparation for their weekend demonstration celebrating the 105th Airlift Wing’s 70th anniversary.
Information and ticket pricing can be found at the show’s website.
