Need a break from your stressful work day? Want to recharge your mental batteries before the kids come home from summer camp?
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown now offers free meditation classes on Wednesdays at lunchtime, in addition to its Wednesday evening sessions.
The daytime classes run from 12:30 pm to 2 pm, and they repeat from 7:30 pm to 9 pm.
Justyn Comer, author of Meditation for Life: How Mind Training Improves Relationships, Career, Health and Happiness (Panoma Press, $20), leads the sessions.
Comer says you can catch up with the class here, though its benefits also can be experienced without any prior meditation training.
St. Peter’s is at the corner of South Street and Miller Road.
