From the Morristown police:
PSE&G has installed new gas mains and services in several Morristown neighborhoods over the past year. These areas were temporarily compacted and paved to allow for vehicle traffic.
As a part of the final restoration process, Tilcon will be milling and paving these areas which will complete the PSE&G project. The Town has posted several areas with NO PARKING signs in anticipation of this work commencing on Monday of next week, June 25, 2018.
The Town asks that residents comply with the posted restrictions to allow for a timely milling and paving project to take place, and to improve the current roadway conditions.
The schedule below should assist residents with making preparations for this project. Mills Street, from Sussex Avenue to Washington Street, will be milled and paved at that end of the schedule to accommodate the repaving of the Alexander Hamilton School parking lot.
This section of Mills Street has been left off the below schedule, as it will be the last roadway and is subject to the timing of the Alexander Hamilton schedule. It will be completely resurfaced as a part of this process.
