Friday morning’s water main break near the intersection of Washington Valley and Whitehead roads in Morris Township has been repaired, and water service is restored, Township police reported shortly before 4 pm.
But residents in the affected areas are advised to continue boiling their water before using it.
The next update from the Southeast Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority is anticipated at 6 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018, or after water samples are analyzed.
