Grow It Green Morristown held the first of three ladybug release events at the Urban Farm at Lafayette on Saturday.
The ladybug releases offer insight into how these beneficial bugs help farmlands by eating some of the insects that typically disrupt crops.
Attendees are carefully handed ladybugs with the mission of helping The Urban Farm out by gently placing them on the crops.
The next release events will be on Friday, June 29, 2018, at 10:00 am and Saturday, Aug. 25, at 10:00 am. These educational sessions are free at the Urban Farm, at 31 Hazel St.
