From The Carettes of Morris County:

The Carettes of Morris County held their 53rd Annual Junior Debutante and Esquire Ball recently at the Hanover Manor.

Established in 1966 as “The Junior Debutante Ball” open to young ladies in their junior year of high school, the Ball was renamed in 1995 to include male participants in their junior year.

Students are involved in workshops promoting self-awareness, professional and career development and social etiquette.

The program is open to students entering their junior year of high school and runs October through April.

Interested students and parents should contact Carettes directly at carettesnj@gmail.com to be invited to their next orientation in October 2018.

The Carettes’ mission is to foster community participation and social interaction. As of 2012, the organization also has distributed more than $114,669 in scholarships.
