The 30th Anniversary of the Blackwell Street Juried Student Show celebrates with a reception from 7 pm to 9 pm, at the Atrium Art Gallery in Morristown. Nearly 400 pieces from high school artists from across Morris County will be displayed on four floors of the county Administration and Records Building through may 4, 2018. Morristown’s annual Fishing Contest is scheduled for Burnham Park Pond, weather-permitting, from 8 am to 11 am. Bring your fishing gear, the town supplies the bait. Prizes for kids ages 5-14. The MacDowell Club of Mountain Lakes concludes its 2017-2018 recital season with a 3 pm concert featuring soprano Victoria Atwater, tenor Bruce Reed, and pianist David Maiello, presenting music from Puccini to Andrew Lloyd Webber. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will transform its 50,000-square-foot facility in Florham Park into a Grand Ballroom, for its Annual Gala to launch its 56th season.
