For your Easter enjoyment, here is an excerpt from Misa a Buenos Aires, an Argentine Tango Mass presented on Good Friday by the Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra of the Presbyterian Church in Morristown.

It’s composed by Martin Palmeri, and conducted by Matthew Webb. Alex Salawsky-Group is the soloist.

This also was one of the last performances in the church sanctuary for awhile.

After Easter services, the church will be closed for renovations to the altar. It will be enlarged to accommodate bigger choirs and orchestras–making a popular concert space even more versatile.

The work is anticipated to conclude by January 2019, we are told. In the meantime, services will be held at the recently renovated Parish House at 65 South St.
