Video: What was that St. Patrick’s Parade forecast again?

Some of you may remember the Grand Marshal’s recent forecast for the upcoming Morris County St. Patrick’s Parade.

We’ll know soon enough if he was indulging in a bit of meteorological blarney.

As this video clearly shows, Wednesday was so cold, my shillelagh turned green. Let’s hope it thaws out by Saturday.

See for yourself. will be rounding out Division I.

“We’ll do everything we can to make sure the parade goes off without a hitch,” said Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty.

According to Theresa Davis of the parade committee, “The Parade will go on as planned unless the municipality says otherwise.

“We are working closely with the town and they are working diligently to clear the streets and make the route safe for both the spectators and marchers. If there is a need to postpone we do have a rain date of March 24th, but we don’t anticipate that will happen,” Davis said, adding that updates will be posted here.

As for us… we’re searching Craigslist right now for a gently used sled dog team.
