UPDATE: The Headquarters Plaza parking garage has been added to the list.
With a winter storm watch predicting four- to eight inches of snow Wednesday, Morristown parking garages will be free to town residents, Mayor Tim Dougherty’s office announced on Monday.
The Morristown Parking Authority will allow residents who normally park on-street or have on-street permits to park free in any of three garages between 8 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, and 8 am on Thursday, March 8. Residents also may park in the Headquarters Plaza garage.
The garages:
- DALTON GARAGE at CATANNO AVENUE
- DEHART STREET GARAGE (VERY LIMITED AVAILABILTY)
- ANN/BANK PARKING GARAGE
- HEADQUARTERS PLAZA GARAGE at 3 SPEEDWELL AVE.
For fees to be waived, you will need to show your driver’s license as proof of residency. Fees may be charged if you stay beyond 8 am on Monday, or if you are a non-resident.
