From the Spring Street Community Development Corp.:

The Spring Street Community Development Corp. will be hosting its Second Annual Denim & Diamonds Gala and requests contributions for the Tricky Tray and Silent Auction in support of its organization’s endeavors.

The fundraiser will be held on May 7, 2018, at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown. Tickets are available at $145 per person.

The event’s proceeds will be used to expand and sustain its programs: SOAR, SOAR Summer Bridge, and Table of Hope. The keynote speaker is Esperanza Porras-Field , founder and president emeritus of the Morris County Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce.

The Student Outreach and Academic Reinforcement (SOAR) program improves students’ lives one tutor session at a time. SOAR enhances the academic and social developments of 5th graders through educational support, mentoring, and enrichment opportunities.

SOAR connects disadvantaged youth with a caring community through partnerships with the Morris School District, the College of Saint Elizabeth, and Bethel A.M.E. Morristown Church.

Please consider making a donation today via monetary contribution, a ticket purchase, gift certificate, or gift basket donation. Your gift will make our fundraiser a success.

Your donation will be featured at the Tricky Tray, and your participation will be acknowledged in our Ad Journal. Tricky Tray and monetary donations items can be picked up at your location. Donations may also be made via its website at www.springstreetcdc.org.
